The plaque is one of a
series commemorating various units who served in Darwin during World War II.
They are set at ground level next to a fence overlooking the harbour and in
close proximity to Darwin Cenotaph.
To commemorate
those who served at
Bachelor [sic] from 1942 to 1945 in
No. 6 COMMUNICATION FLIGHT R.A.A.F.
with Dr. Clyde Fenton and his bush pilots
on their missions of succour and support
all over the Northern Territory
This plaque was dedicated in June 1999
